History Summit Projects
Each quarter you will have 4+ summit project options for Utah Studies. They are listed below.
Remember, you have to complete three summit projects to be able to go to the summit activity at the end of the quarter! However, you can choose which three projects you do (i.e. one science, one language arts, one history OR three from one subject)
1st and 2nd semester you will have the option to complete a "Summit the Summit" project that you can choose to do in place of three smaller projects (there will be one project per class on the Summit the Summit the page). Remember, you can still choose to do the three

Quarter one:
Lake Bonneville - Learn more about the prehistoric lake and how it helped create the Great Salt Lake.
National Monuments - Learn more about the special areas set aside to protect and preserve.
Prehistoric Animals: Look into the days of old - as in dinosaurs! Research the prehistoric animals of Utah.
Prehistoric Animas vs Historic Animals: Compare and contrast the types of animals the Paleo tribe hunted compared to the Historic Tribes.

Native American - Explore the world of Native American legends from Utah!
Native Americans - Look into a mystery as old as time: What happened to the Anasazi tribe?

Capitol Field Trip Summit: If you are interested in going on the Capitol Field trip, you must complete this summit project.
